What we collect
- Order details: name, shipping address, email, phone and what you bought
- Account details if you create one: email and name
- Email address if you sign up for offers
- Basic site usage data such as pages viewed and items added to cart
Payment card details are handled entirely by Shopify's checkout and its payment processors. Vinyla never sees or stores your full card number.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your order
- To answer your emails
- To send marketing email only where you have given express consent
- To understand which products and pages are useful, in aggregate
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the store: Shopify for checkout and order management, shipping carriers for delivery, and our email provider for order and marketing email. We do not sell personal information.
Email consent (CASL)
Marketing email is opt-in. Consent boxes are never pre-checked, and every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe. Order and shipping emails are transactional and are sent regardless.
Your rights
Email ronald@vinyla.ca to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. We respond within 1 business day.
Cookies
The store uses cookies and local storage to keep your cart, your account session and your currency preference. Blocking them will stop the cart from working.
